Ball Bag Backup

• P Pitcher Backup Get off the mound and back up the plate from the third-base side — out of the throwing lane.
• C Catcher Ball Take the force at home like a first baseman — foot on the plate, catch first, then step toward first and throw.
• 1B First Base Bag Retreat to first for the back end of the double play — big target, off the runner.
• 2B Second Base Bag Cover second — with the bases loaded, every base stays covered.
• 3B Third Base Bag Cover third for a return throw if the play stops.
• SS Shortstop Ball Field the grounder chest-up and throw home hard and on a line — the force there kills the run.
• LF Left Field Backup Move in to back up third base.
• CF Center Field Backup Move in to back up second base.
• RF Right Field Backup Sprint to foul ground beyond first to back up the catcher's throw.
