How to use this with your team
5 minutes a practice will make a huge difference.
Before practice (3–5 min)
Pick one situation. Ask each kid: “Where do you go? What’s your job?”
Keep it quick and consistent.
During practice (5–10 min)
Walk it once, jog it once, then game speed. Emphasize talking: “Ball!” “Cut!” “Two!”
At home (5 min)
Kids do 5 flashcards. Parents can ask: “Who’s your backup?” and “Where’s the cutoff?”
Game day
Remind only 1–2 rules. Example: “Right side covers 1B on bunt.” Repeat the same words every time.
